Why do you need this?

The most expensive career decision most people make blind

A top global MBA is a ₹1.5–2 crore commitment — tuition, opportunity cost, relocation, recovery time — and two years of your life. It’s also one of the highest-stakes career decisions a professional ever makes. And yet most candidates approach it with information from friends who got in, anonymous Reddit forums, school marketing material designed to maximise applications, and consultants whose business model depends on you applying. The candidates who make this decision well — and the ones who get into M7 programs — tend to think about it very differently than the ones who don’t.

~$200K+ tuition

Is the bare minimum commitment. Total cost — including opportunity cost — typically runs ₹1.5–2 crore. Almost no other career decision has this much capital tied to a single yes/no.

~6–7% admit rates

At HBS, Stanford, Wharton. Every M7 admit is competing against thousands of strong candidates globally. Profile differentiation, school fit, narrative coherence, and timing all matter more than most candidates realise.

A life trajectory at stake

The decision isn’t just “do an MBA.” It’s MBA vs no-MBA, US vs Europe vs Asia, 1-year vs 2-year, this cycle vs next, M7 vs T15, big consulting/PE recruiting vs entrepreneurship. Each fork compounds for the next decade.

The session that gives you a real MBA plan, not generic advice.

Every Mentoresult international MBA kickstarter session with Ruchi is engineered around one outcome: a candid, qualified read on whether an MBA abroad is the right move for you, and how to position yourself if it is. You’ll leave with an honest profile assessment, a school strategy calibrated to your realistic odds, and a clear sense of what to do next — including, if it’s the right answer, don’t apply this cycle.

What you get

Built for professionals serious about a global MBA — and serious about getting the decision right.

Whether you’re 4 years in and starting to think about it, or already committed to applying this cycle, this session adapts to where you are — and gives you the strategic clarity that LinkedIn threads and school brochures can’t.

🎯

M7 / T15 / Europe aspirants

You’re targeting Harvard, Stanford, Wharton, Kellogg, MIT, Booth, Columbia — and need an honest read on whether your profile is competitive, and what to fix.

🎓

Pre-application phase

You’re 12–18 months out from applying and want to use the runway well — GMAT/GRE strategy, profile build, recommender prep, school selection.

🔄

Considering the alternatives

You’re weighing global MBA vs Indian MBA, vs MS abroad, vs in-job promotion, vs founding something — and want a real conversation about trade-offs.

💼

The reapplicant

You applied once and didn’t get the result you wanted — and need an honest diagnosis before deciding whether to try again.

Especially useful if you're

✓

Carrying the “should I do an MBA in the US?” question and haven’t been able to resolve it

✓

Considering loans / family commitment, and need to think clearly about ROI before saying yes

✓

Worried your profile isn’t competitive at M7 / T15 — but unsure how to honestly assess it

✓

Coming from a non-traditional background (founder, government, family business) and unsure how to position

✓

Confused about GMAT vs GRE, 1-year vs 2-year, US vs Europe, fall vs round 2

✓

Surrounded by advice that’s either too optimistic (online videos) or too pessimistic (friends who didn’t get in)

Inside your session

Every session is customised to you — your profile, your goals, your trade-offs.

60 minutes of focused work on the single biggest career decision most professionals make.

1

0–10 min · Where You Stand

Share your full profile

Your background, work-ex, GMAT/GRE status, target schools, geography preferences, financial situation, family constraints, timeline. The honest version, not the LinkedIn version. Every minute is calibrated to your reality.

2

10–25 min · Where You’re Going

The most important question, asked properly

A real conversation on whether an MBA abroad is actually the right move for you, right now. The ROI math, the alternatives you may not have considered, the trade-offs people underweight, the second-order consequences. The version your network can’t give you because they’re too close, too invested, or already in.

3

25–50 min · How You Get There

Your personalised strategy & roadmap

Which programs fit your profile (M7, T15, top European, 1-year vs 2-year), how the admit math actually works across schools, where your odds are strongest, what your application strategy needs to do over the next 12 months — GMAT timing, profile gaps to close, recommender preparation, narrative architecture.

4

50–60 min · Your Questions

Application strategy & next steps

Anything on your mind: ROI in different career paths, life as an international MBA student, partner/family realities, post-MBA visa, post-MBA recruiting, comparison with senior roles you’d otherwise grow into. Honest answers from someone who’s seen this play out across 3,000+ careers.

"Ruchi knows what she's doing, and I'm glad I trusted her"

Ruchi prepped me for 13 schools, out of which I got into 10. She knows what she's doing, and I'm glad I trusted her.

I'd contacted Ruchi because I had immediate deadlines for several schools, and she came through. Ruchi told me exactly what to drill down on based on the requirements of particular schools. Her biggest contribution was solidifying my "why MBA" answer to make it more punchy and relatable. She also explained ways of making my roles and responsibilities at work sound more impactful and came up with certain quantifiable metrics that I could throw in. She gave me a third-person's perspective, which helped me understand how to make my interviews more conversational and less rigid. She even very respectfully told me what was bad about or missing from my answers, and immediately gave me quick-fixes.
Ruchi did all of this while remaining infinitely calm, measured, sweet, empathetic – and quick on her feet. She is an incredible resource to have. She's had a wide experience across schools in different continents, and it shows.
I only applied in R2, and was admitted into Booth with a 50% scholarship. Additionally, I also received offers from Columbia, Kellogg, Darden (50% scholarship, invite to interview for Oculus fellowship), Tepper (60% scholarship), Anderson (50% scholarship), Foster (50% scholarship), Tuck (15K annually), NUS and INSEAD.
Ruchi and I are still in touch, and she even helped edit my resume and sharpen my narrative for consulting recruiting at Booth, which led to two offers at BCG and Bain!

What sets Ruchi apart is her unwavering dedication to her clients. Her insightful feedback, attention to detail, and constructive suggestions helped me refine my answers and articulate my story concisely. "From Confusion To Clarity To Success With $120,000 In Scholarship!"

Right from the get-go, Ruchi's work ethic impressed me. Her methodical approach to framing ideas allowed me to condense my experience across 6 years into succinct and impactful essays. She would always be available to brainstorm ideas and did not allow me to settle for anything less than perfection in my essays.

Her assistance with interview prep was also super helpful. She gave targeted feedback on my areas of improvement which allowed me to make a lasting impression on interviewers. I ended up with a $120,000 scholarship from CMU Tepper, something beyond my wildest imagination.

In today's uncertain times marked by changes around AI, visa immigration issues, and a choppy job market, I couldn't recommend Ruchi more.

"She is not just an admission counsellor, she is a 360 mentor"

Three things stood out for me about Ruchi, that made me select her as a counsellor and assured my belief later - that I made the right choice.

1. Macro vision - She is not just an admission counsellor, she is a 360 mentor who has a macro vision. Right from my first trial call with her, she made a note of my life and career roadmap, how I see my future and what college/course would make sense for me given my aspirations. Imagine having your admissions consultant who is not ONLY concerned about that college conversion, but also about your career trajectory and where you ought to belong.

2. Collaborative and adaptive - I wanted to work with someone who I can be 100% honest with, someone who is least judgmental and very easy to gel with. I had my doubts about my profile, gmat score, graduation grades, not on right from when I shared my CV. She showed a lot of faith in my caliber and then there was no turning back. Every career decision was revisited and every small win/loss was documented - which helped us frame the best story for me. She quickly realised I have a unique profile, and there on decided how we can play to our strengths.

3. Organised and punctual - I am somebody who likes to be on time, and I needed someone who can be ahead of time. She perfectly fit this attribute. Our calls were always pre planned, our essays always written ahead of deadlines, and the feedback’s on my essays had TAT of less than 2 days always - which is impeccable. Along with this, as I started getting interview calls (where one really can’t plan ahead of time as we have a v small window to prepare), she was extremely flexible to book calls on urgent basis as well! Win-Win.

Out of 5 schools I worked with her, I cracked 4 schools including 2 With Scholarships.

"Ruchi THE ROCKSTAR consultant - Helped me stand out in an overrepresented pool"

Ruchi is an exceptional MBA admissions consultant whose compassionate approach and outstanding listening skills make her stand out in the industry. From the moment our engagement began, she made an honest effort to understand my unique background and aspirations, ensuring that every conversation felt supportive and tailored to my strengths.

Her ability to craft compelling stories truly transformed my application. Ruchi meticulously helped shape my narrative, highlighting elements that resonated with admissions committees even though I belonged to an overrepresented applicant pool. The authenticity and strategic advice she provided enabled my application to stand out, resulting in multiple interview invitations and several offer letters from prestigious MBA programs.

Working with Ruchi was a deeply enriching experience, not just because of her expertise, but also her genuine care for my success. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to maximise their MBA admissions results with the guidance of someone who is not only knowledgeable but also truly invested in her clients' journeys.

"Kellogg Admit! Ruchi Is Kind, Approachable And Blazing Fast!"

I thoroughly enjoyed working with Ruchi. She is really kind and approachable – and that made it really easy for me to open up, ask questions, and be myself.
What really stood out was how clearly she broke down the process. Instead of just giving me a list of 'do's and don'ts,' she helped me understand what they were actually testing for and how my profile/goals fit the bill with answer-forming.

She also encouraged me to fully embrace my genuine enthusiasm for the school, rather than trying to package myself a certain way. I think that authenticity really came through!
Ruchi is also very accessible (replies blazingly fast!) and has accumulated really helpful resources that she very kindly shares when she sees the need.
Overall, I would highly recommend working with her! Highly recommend working with Ruchi for anything ranging from MBA applications to overall career guidance. She's amazing to work with and genuinely wants the best for you!

Frequently asked questions

Everything you might want to ask before booking.

If something’s not here, message me directly — I respond personally.

Yes, without exception. Every session is personally with Ruchi. No associates, no assistants. For a decision this consequential, what you’re paying for is judgement — and you’ll get it from the first minute.

This is the earlier conversation. The Admissions Consulting offering is for candidates who have already decided to apply and need full application support — essays, recommenders, school choice, interviews. This Kickstarter session is for the question that comes before that: should you apply at all, when, where, with what profile, against what alternatives. Many candidates need this conversation more than they need application help.

Then she’ll tell you honestly — and tell you what would be a better move. No false hope, no false ceiling. Most admissions consultants can’t give you this answer because their business model depends on you applying. Ruchi doesn’t. If your right answer is “don’t apply this cycle” or “don’t apply at all,” she’ll tell you, and tell you what to do instead.

Either works. Before the GMAT: useful for deciding whether the entire MBA path is right for you, before you sink 4–6 months into test prep. After the GMAT: useful for translating your score into a realistic school strategy. Most candidates benefit from this conversation earlier than they think they should.

Especially for you. Most reapplicants change tactics (different schools, polished essays) without changing strategy (was the underlying profile competitive, was the timing right, was the story coherent). One honest hour before reapplying is often the difference between a second rejection and a converted admit.
