About Ruchi & Mentoresult

Who is Ruchi and what is Mentoresult?

I’m Ruchi Aggarwal — founder of Mentoresult, IIM Ahmedabad MBA (top 10% of class), former McKinsey consultant, CAT 99.99%iler, and GMAT 770 scorer.

Mentoresult is a premium mentorship platform I founded. I’ve worked with 3,000+ individuals across MBA admissions, consulting prep, and career guidance — across 25+ countries.

What results have your mentees achieved?

Mentoresult mentees have been admitted to Harvard, Wharton, Booth, Columbia, MIT Sloan, INSEAD, LBS, HEC Paris, and NYU Stern — as well as IIM A, IIM B, IIM C, ISB, and FMS on the Indian side.

On the career side, mentees have cracked roles at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Kearney, Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, and Baring Private Equity. Total scholarship value secured exceeds $3.5Mn.

What makes Mentoresult different from other mentorship services?

Do you work with international clients?

Yes — all sessions are conducted over Zoom. I’ve worked with mentees across 25+ countries including the US, UK, UAE, Singapore, France, Nigeria, Canada, and Australia.

My profile is non-traditional. Will Mentoresult still be useful for me?

Absolutely. Some of my strongest results have come from non-traditional profiles — career switchers, entrepreneurs, people from underrepresented fields. Every session is built around your specific background and goals.

MBA Admissions Consulting

What does your admissions consulting service include?

Full admissions consulting is an end-to-end engagement covering school selection, positioning strategy, essay development, application review, resume crafting, interview preparation, and waitlist strategy.

Which MBA programmes have your mentees been admitted to?

Mentees have been admitted to M7 schools and other international top schools. Schools include Harvard, Wharton, Booth, Columbia, MIT Sloan, INSEAD, LBS, HEC Paris, Berkeley Haas, NYU Stern and 50+ others.

Several mentees have received full scholarships worth over $200,000.

How early should I start the admissions consulting process?

For Round 1 applications, I recommend starting at least 3–4 months in advance — ideally May or June for September deadlines. This gives enough time to develop a strong narrative, write multiple essay drafts, and prepare for interviews.

Do you work with both Indian MBA and international MBA applicants?

Yes — I have dedicated service tracks for both. For Indian MBAs I cover CAT prep and interview preparation. For international MBAs I cover GMAT, school selection, essays, and interviews. Many mentees use both tracks simultaneously.

1:1 Sessions

How are sessions structured?

Every session is personalised to your profile and goals — there is no one-size-fits-all agenda. Once you book, you’ll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link and any pre-session preparation notes.

I'm not sure which session to book. What should I do?

Pick the session that most closely matches your current need — it can be adapted to your specific situation once we begin. If genuinely unsure, email [email protected] with a brief note on your background and goals.

Can I book a custom session that isn't listed on the website?

Yes. Email [email protected] with a description of what you need. I’m happy to discuss building a session tailored to your situation.

The available time slots don't work for me. Can I request a different time?

Yes — email [email protected] with your session choice and preferred date and time. I’ll do my best to accommodate based on availability.

How do I join my session?

Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive an automatic email with your Zoom meeting link. Join via the link at your scheduled time. If you have any trouble, raise a support ticket on our support page.

Courses

What courses does Mentoresult offer?

Currently two self-paced courses are available:

Pre-MBA Course — for candidates preparing to apply to top MBA programmes, covering positioning, essays, and application strategy.

Consulting Case Interview Course — a structured programme for candidates preparing for case interviews at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, and peer firms.

Are the courses self-paced?

Yes — both courses are fully self-paced. You can access the material at any time after purchase and work through it at your own pace.

What is the difference between a course and a 1:1 session?

Courses are structured, self-paced programmes — ideal for building a foundation independently. 1:1 sessions are live, personalised conversations tailored entirely to your profile and immediate goals.

Many mentees use courses to prepare, then book 1:1 sessions to refine their specific application or interview strategy.

Can I get a refund on a course?
