The Outside Perspective Every Founder Eventually Needs
A live, 1:1 career mentorship session with an ex-McKinsey consultant who has guided 3,000+ professionals through career inflection points — engineered to give you the clarity, perspective, and honest counsel you can’t get from anyone with skin in the game.
Built across consulting, tech, finance, product, MBA decisions, and lateral moves worldwide. Walk in with a question you’ve been carrying for months. Walk out with the clarity to act on it.
The hardest startup decisions get the least counsel
Building a startup is a series of decisions made with insufficient information and no one to honestly check them against. Your co-founders are inside the same fog. Your team can’t be told everything. Your investors have agenda. Your network of “happy to chat” advisors is generous but rarely qualified across both the strategy and founder sides. The decisions you most need to think clearly about — pivot or push, fire or coach, raise or extend, kill a feature, fire a customer, walk away from a market — are exactly the ones you can’t safely workshop with anyone close to the company.
Most early-stage founders have available to them — that are both strategically qualified and free of conflict. Friends-and-family advice is generous but rarely informed. Investors are informed but rarely conflict-free. The gap is structural.
At the founder level are large enough that getting them wrong costs you runway, a key hire, a market window, or the company itself. Most are made with less rigour than the same person would apply to a McKinsey case study at business school.
The compounding works fast at the early stage. A wrong hire at month 6 takes 18 months to fully unwind. A delayed pivot burns half your runway. A weak pitch closes a round at the wrong valuation. The cost of getting senior calls wrong as a founder isn’t theoretical — it’s the company.
The session that gives you a real outside view.
Every Mentoresult startup session with Ruchi is engineered around one outcome: clearer thinking on the specific decision or problem you’re working through. You’ll leave with a structured way to hold your trade-offs, candid counsel from someone who has built a business and advised Fortune 500s on strategy, and a clearer sense of what to do next — calibrated to where you actually are.

🎯
Idea-stage founders
You have a startup idea you’re serious about and want to pressure-test the core thesis — feasibility, market, who actually pays, what could kill it — before sinking 12 months into building.
🎓
0-to-1 founders
You’ve started building but feel stuck between iterations, unsure what to optimise next, whether the early signal is real, or how to move from 25 users to 1,000 without losing what worked.
🔄
Growth-stage founders
You’re past initial product-market fit and into the harder questions: scaling the team, building the GTM machine, when to raise, pricing strategy, the next category to enter, what’s quietly broken.
💼
Fundraising founders
You’re preparing to raise (pre-seed to Series A) and need a sharper pitch, a tighter narrative, valuation grounding, and an outside-investor perspective from someone who has advised PE on the other side of these conversations.
✓
Carrying a strategic decision you’ve discussed with your co-founder and team and still aren’t clear on
✓
Considering a pivot, a difficult hire, a market exit, or a fundraise — and want to think it through with someone outside the cap table
✓
Stuck in AI-related decisions and worried about using AI effectively
✓
Coming from a non-business background (engineer, doctor, designer) and want a structured strategic perspective alongside your domain expertise
✓
Stuck between two paths and want one rigorously honest conversation before committing
✓
Quietly worried about something in the business you haven’t been able to name yet
Every session is customised to you — your stage, your sector, your specific question.
60 minutes of focused work on the decision that matters most right now.
0–10 min · The context
Your background, current situation, the decision in front of you, and the constraints you’re working with — geography, comp, family, timeline, risk appetite. The honest version, not the LinkedIn version. Every minute is calibrated to your reality.
10–25 min · The Real Picture
A structured read on your business plan, vision, and growth aspiration — surfaced from the lens of someone who has advised 25+ Fortune 500s and 5+ PE clients on strategic calls, and built a company from scratch. The things that matter, the things that don’t, the assumptions you may be carrying unexamined.
25–50 min · The Problem-Solving Conversation
Feasibility, market potential, GTM, alternative paths, pricing, hiring, fundraising strategy, growth bottlenecks, founder dilemmas — whatever the real question is, in depth. This is the thinking part. Honest counter-arguments, surfaced trade-offs, qualified perspective from someone with no skin in your cap table.
50–60 min · Priorities & Next Steps
A timeline of immediate priorities, what to defer, what to investigate, who to talk to, what to read. Plus an honest sense of whether one session is enough or whether the situation would benefit from longer engagement.
What you keep, long after we're done.
The toolkit you walk away with — including the Startup Rocketship Toolkit, a personalised business presentation built specifically for your startup.

Why learn from Ruchi
Ruchi is the rare combination of a strategic consultant and a working founder. At McKinsey, she advised 25+ global companies across financial services, technology, e-commerce, pharma, education, and private equity. She also advised 5+ PE clients on multi-million-dollar investments — meaning she has seen the founder pitch from the investor side, repeatedly, with serious capital at stake.
Pre-McKinsey, she holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and an All-India Rank in Chartered Accountancy. She’s a 99.99%ile CAT scorer and a 770 GMAT.
As the founder of Mentoresult, she has built the company from zero — including the entire tech stack and website, which she codes herself in 3 languages, and has built over 20 AI tools for herself and her clients. That’s not a typical advisor’s claim, and it matters: most founder-advisors lose touch with how hard execution actually is. Ruchi hasn’t. Across her career, she has advised 50+ startup founders across the full lifecycle from inception to scale — covering idea validation, revenue generation, pitch strategy, raising funding, and digital growth. She has worked with founders in tech, healthcare, fintech, e-commerce, consumer, education, and wellness.
That combination — strategic consulting from the inside, PE advisory from the investor side, lived founder experience, and 50+ startup engagements — is what this session draws on.

“From a long mentee - She truly the most patient mentor”
With the help of Ruchi, I received an offer at McKinsey & company. Right from our first session, I found that the advice and mentorship is customised to my capabilities and goals. After a long mentor- mentee relationship with Ruchi, my takeaways are that she is truly the most patient mentor you can find. It's very important for someone who is starting a journey where you face high stake dilemmas in a pressurised environment to have a mentor like her. I would recommend anyone who is feeling confused or unsure about their journey to reach out to her without any second thoughts.
Additionally, anyone trying learn case solving methodologies, cases with her because it will really help you clear top consulting interviews and her experience would be highly valuable!

“Jovial, easy to approach mentor who helped me land my first managerial role”
Ruchi is a very positive, jovial and easy to approach mentor when it comes to her private discussion/training sessions. With her help, I was able to curate my resume in the best possible way which helped me to land in my first Managerial role. I would highly recommend Ruchi/Mentoresult services in all possible ways and you get wholesome results for the fee you pay for her services.

“Words would be less in describing how grateful I am by having Ruchi as my mentor”
Words would be less in describing how grateful I am by having Ruchi as my mentor in this journey of finding a job.
From understanding different kinds of job roles available to deciding what would be right fit for me, from preparing my resume to helping me prepare for the interviews, she has been no less than a blessing for me.
Before approaching her, I made a resume in my own style but that didn't fetch me any shortlists. But later when I applied to roles with the resume made with her support, that fetched me calls from more than 10 startups out of 30 I had applied. I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants their resume to be drafted and want to ace a job interview in their desired role.

Everything you might want to ask before booking.

Will I speak with Ruchi — not a junior mentor?
Yes, without exception. Every session is personally with Ruchi. The combination of McKinsey strategic experience, PE-side advisory exposure, lived founder experience, and 50+ startup engagements is what this session offers — and you’ll get it from the first minute.
My startup is still just an idea. Is it too early?
The idea stage is one of the best times for this session — a single hour of structured strategic pressure-testing can save you 6–12 months of building the wrong thing. If you specifically want deeper idea-validation work, see the Startup Idea Validation & Brainstorming session, which is built for that purpose.
I'm fundraising. How does this differ from a pitch coach?
Pitch coaches help you present better. Ruchi helps you build a fundamentally stronger pitch — narrative, valuation framing, investor objections, deck architecture, the questions investors will actually ask. She has been on the investor side at McKinsey advising PE clients on multi-million-dollar deals, which means she has seen what makes pitches succeed or fail from the room where the cheque is written. For pitch-specific work, the Funding & Pitch Strategy session goes deeper.
My co-founder wants to join. Is that okay?
Yes — many founder sessions are taken jointly. Mention it on booking. The same fee covers both founders; the session becomes a structured strategic conversation across the founding team, which is often more valuable than two separate sessions.
My startup is in a niche space (deep tech, biotech, regulated industry). Will Ruchi's general experience help?
Ruchi’s value at this level is rarely domain-specific. It’s strategic structure, business model rigour, investor perspective, and founder pattern recognition — all of which transfer across sectors. Where deep domain expertise is genuinely required (e.g., specific regulatory navigation in biotech), she’ll be honest that other advisors will help more on those narrow questions. The strategic layer she works on is the same across sectors.
Ruchi is a domain expert herself in AI, EdTech, FinTech and E-Commerce.
I'm not preparing for an interview right now. Is this still for me?
Especially for you. The interview-prep sessions are for candidates with a specific offer in their sights. Career mentorship is for the larger and more important question that comes before that — which offer should you be chasing, and why. Most professionals don’t ask this question deliberately enough, and it costs them years.
Is the session confidential?
Yes, completely. Nothing about your business — strategy, financials, internal dynamics — enters any Mentoresult collateral or external conversation.
