How is fit prep different from case prep?
Cases test how you think. Fit tests who you are under pressure — your leadership, your judgement, your motivations. The skills don’t transfer. A candidate who’s done 50 cases can still fail PEI by telling the wrong story, missing the leadership beat, or sounding rehearsed. This session is built for that round specifically.
Isn't "fit" just being yourself? Why do I need to prep?
Being yourself is necessary, not sufficient. MBB fit rounds are looking for specific signals — personal impact, leadership, drive, entrepreneurial edge — within tight time limits, with follow-ups designed to test consistency. The candidates who convert know exactly which moment in their life proves which trait, and how to tell it in 90 seconds without sounding scripted.
My interviewer might ask anything. How can one session prep me?
Fit questions look infinite but cluster into ~6 themes: leadership, impact, failure, conflict, motivation, why-consulting. One session is enough to map your best stories across those themes, stress-test them, and leave you with a story bank that flexes to almost any question that comes up.
I'm a beginner — am I too early to book?
Honestly, beginners often get the highest ROI on fit prep. You skip months of building rehearsed-sounding answers. The session is calibrated to your level: beginners get foundations done right; experienced candidates get surgical fixes on the stories that already work.
Should I do this before or after my case prep?
Alongside, ideally. You want to do this early enough to refine your stories, late enough to know what kind of candidate you’re presenting yourself as. If you’re <2 week out and haven’t touched fit, do this immidiately.
